Jen Price won two events including an NCAA B cut time in the 1000 freestyle to lead the IUP swim teams in a dual meet Saturday at Ashland. Price had a time of 10:46.89 in winning the 1000 freestyle, a time that is the second fastest in the PSAC so far this season. She also won the 500 freestyle in 5:14.84. Price was joined as a double event winner by Pawel Glowiak, who touched first in the 50 freestyle (22.19) and the 100 backstroke (53.09), and Melissa Kucharczuk, who took the 100 freestyle (55.42) and 200 freestyle (1:59.21). Casey Beck was the fourth IUP swimmer to win an individual event with a time of 1:04.48 in the 100 backstroke. Brittany Watkins was second in the 400 individual medley (4:51.82) and 100 freestyle (56.12). Also taking second place finishes were Kate Rowe in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.45), Dylan Mudlo in the 200 freestyle (1:51.46) and Jeff Gavin in the 500 freestyle (5:02.16). The team of Mudlo, Luke Shaheen, Walter Smith and Josh Huger won the men's 200 freestyle relay in 1:32.49. Ashland won both dual meets. The Eagle women won 118-87 and the men won 132-84.
