Heidi Mitskavich and Abbey Doran both won two individual events to lead a total of eight first place finishes as the IUP women downed California 120-80 in a dual meet Wednesday evening. Mitskavich won the 400 freestyle (4:17.06) and the 750 free (8:08.90) while Doran was first in the 50 free (25.29) and 100 free (55.71). Other individual event winners included Jen Price in the 150 free (1:27.25), Kate Rowe in the 150 IM (1:41.77) and Jordan Myers in the 150 butterfly (1:38.68). The Crimson Hawks also won the 200 medley relay, with the team of Doran, Rowe, Erin Barbetta and Brittany Watkins posting a time of 1:53.69. IUP will host the Salvation Army fundraising swim on Saturday. Both teams will compete against West Virginia Wesleyan in a dual meet on November 10 at the Memorial Field House pool.
