Results

The IUP men's cross country team placed second out of four teams Saturday at the South Campus Field. The women's squad took third out of four teams.

The men's team had 40 points, 19 behind first-place Slippery Rock. The Women's team had 68 points, nine behind Alderson Broaddus and 47 behind first-place Slippery Rock.

Josh Joson led the IUP men, finishing fifth overall with a time of 27:42. He was trailed by Colt Mack (6th, 27:46), Clint Keller (7th, 27:52), Matt Rutt (11th, 28:16) and Ben Havko (18th, 28:44).

Alyssa Taddie led pack for the women's team, finishing tenth with a 25:07 time. She was followed by Kelly Best (11th, 25:14), Jane Looby (16th, 25:47), Julie Johnson (19th, 26:19) and Whitney Woodward (22nd, 26:50).

The IUP men's and women's cross country teams will run their next trip at the Paul Short Invitational at Bethlehem, Pa. Saturday, Oct. 2 at noon.
