Eric Morrison is in his second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the Crimson Hawks. He was a four-year starting outfielder for head coach Mike Wilson at Duquesne University and registered 237 hits, a batting average of .308 and 69 stolen bases in 208 career games.
Morrison was a Dean's List member and earned his degree in sports marketing. He is working with the IUP outfielders, hitters and baserunnersm coaches first base and assists with the strength, speed and conditioning program.
Morrison played professionally during the summer of 2009 for the Texarkana Gunslingers, an independent club in the Continental Baseball League. He is a 2004 graduate of Bethel Park High School in Pittsburgh and is attending graduate school at IUP, working toward a master's degree in health and physical education.
