Anthony Rebyanski is in his third season as an assistant coach under Jeff Ditch and is in charge of the IUP pitching staff and as well as serving as the recruiting coordinator.
Rebyanski, a graduate of Indiana High School, pitched for IUP from 2002-05 and his name appears throughout the school's record book, including fourth in career strikeouts with 163 and tied for third with 30 starts. He won 12 games (tied for 14th), made a total of 36 appearances (tied for eighth), including 13 complete games (tied for 10th) and threw 174.1 innings to place seventh.
He was named the PSAC West Rookie of the Year in 2002 and honored as the inaugural IUP Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2005 after posting a 3.14 cumulative grade point average. He earned his bachelor's degree in communications media from IUP in August 2006.
Rebyanski currently pitches out of the bullpen for the Windy City Thunderbolts in the professional independent Frontier League during the summer. The Thunderbolts have won two consecutive Frontier League championships, including a league-best record 68-28 in 2007.
His combined stats from the 2007 and 2008 seasons include 79 appearances, six wins and a save while striking out 101 batters in 80.1 innings pitched.
