Adam Schmidt is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Crimson Hawks and will be in charge of the team's defensive tackles. Schmidt will also direct the football team's strength and conditioning program for the second season after taking over those duties as a student assistant in 2008. Schmidt was a four-year letterman at IUP from 2004-07 and started 18 games at right tackle his junior and senior seasons. He began his career on the defensive line before moving over to the offensive front in 2006. Schmidt played in a total of 32 games at IUP. During his time on defense, Schmidt was credited with a total of 24 tackles and made three sacks. |
