Results

IUP shot a team score of 618 to take third place at the Concord Invitational which was held over the weekend at the Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, W.Va.

The Crimson Hawks were eight shots behind Concord and Ohio Valley, which tied for the team title. IUP was four shots ahead of Clarion and seven in front of Charleston in the 12-team field.

The tournament was held at the same site that the NCAA Super Regional will be played in May.

Cory Stelick was the top individual finisher for IUP, firing matching rounds of 75 for a six-over par score of 150. He was three shots behind medalist Emmanuel Charmat of Concord and two back of J.R. Jones and Paul Raines, both from Ohio Valley.

Brad Boyle tied for 16th with a score of 156, Leo Acklin was 21st at 157, Gavin Smith tied for 22nd at 158 and Ryan Kennedy tied for 25th at 160.

IUP plays next at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational March 30-31 in Avondale, Pa.
