Shannon Sullivan scored all three Crimson Hawk goals and led IUP to a 3-1 win over Mercyhurst under the lights of George P. Miller Stadium Saturday night.

Sullivan scored the first goal on her own 21 minutes through the first half, and IUP took the 1-0 lead to the end of the half.

Sullivan scored her following two goals early in the second half, both within four minutes, to give the Crimson Hawks a commanding 3-0 lead.

Mercyhurst tried to grasp some momentum when Megan Richards scored with 27 minutes remaining, but it wasn't enough to make a comeback.

Anouk Sickman had an assist and nine shots for IUP. Jenna Humphreys had five shots and an assist.

IUP has a 3-6 overall record and a 3-2 PSAC West record after defeating Mercyhurst. The Lakers are 6-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

IUP is 3-0 at home and 0-6 on the road.

The Crimson Hawks will play their next match on the road at Mansfield Wednesday at 4 p.m.
