IUP raised its record to 3-1 with a dominating 2-0 field hockey win over the Bellarmine Knights (2-2) at Miller Stadium.
The Crimson Hawks sealed the win with a goal by Katie Schwartz with just under three minutes remaining. Barb Heemelaar picked up the assist. The Crimson Hawks outshot the Knights 23-1. Goalie Lydia Dolly made a save on the only shot she faced. IUP carries a two-game winning streak to East Stroudsburg for its PSAC opener on Wednesda. The Crimson Hawks return home for their PSAC home opener on September 11 with a 4 p.m. game against Bloomsburg.
