Stats

Amanda Fetter scored six goals in her final college game but Seton Hill rallied from a late deficit to hand IUP a season-ending 16-15 loss Saturday in Greensburg.

Beth Glasshagel and Alex Slinkard both had three goals and an assist for the Crimson Hawks, who finished 6-10 in their first season under head coach Mindy Richmond. Becca Vogt had two goals and two assists, Sarah Smith also scored a goal and Corinne Miller added a save.

Katie Lee, who like Fetter was making her final appearance in an IUP uniform, played the first 49 minutes in goal and made 12 saves. Julie Woodburn had 14 saves for the Griffins.

Ellen Einsporn led Seton Hill (6-11) with six goals including four in a row that turned a 14-12 IUP lead into a 16-14 Griffin advantage. Fetter scored the final goal of the game in the last second.

The Crimson Hawks led 10-9 at halftime and, after Seton Hill tied it early in the second half, got consecutive goals from Fetter, Vogt and Slinkard just 3:04 apart to build a 13-10 cushion. Following a pair of Griffin goals, Slinkard scored at the 10:06 mark to make it 14-12 but IUP could not score again until the end.
