IUP split the first two games with Clarion before the Golden Eagles pulled away for a 3-1 victory over the Crimson Hawks in a PSAC West volleyball match Saturday at Memorial Field House. Clarion won by scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-21. The Crimson Hawks dropped to 13-17 overall and 0-8 in division play. Racquel Cabrera had 10 kills and seven blocks for IUP. Maddie Schulte paced the Crimson Hawks in kills with 12 and had two aces while Danielle Ostendorf made eight blocks. Emily McCombie had 36 assists, and Emily Pany made 21 digs. Laura Robinette added nine digs. IUP hosts nationally-ranked California Tuesday at 7 p.m. |
