IUP held off the Glenville State rally in the third set to take a 3-0 victory Tuesday at Memorial Field House. The Crimson Hawks improved to 16-13 overall and remain 8-7 in the PSAC, while the Pioneers fell to 10-19 on the season.

In the first set IUP jumped out to an early lead and rolled to take a 25-19 decision off of a Morgan Cerveny kill. In the second set Glenville State post the first point of the match but IUP rallied back to take a 25-14 win off of a Chelsey Kreinbrook ace. In the third set the Pioneers would take a two point lead but IUP charged back to take a 25-23 victory.

The Crimson Hawks were led by Alyssa Prince with a team high 10 kills, a .320 hitting percentage and five digs.

Laura McFadden had five digs and two blocks, while Kreinbrook recorded 34 assists and six digs for IUP.

Cerveny led the team with a .636 hitting percentage, while Danielle Ostendorf followed with a .556 hitting percentage.

Emily Pany added 11 digs to give her 597 on the season with a 5.63 digs per set average.

IUP will continue its three game home stand Friday against Clarion at 7:00 p.m.
