California, the No. 19 team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, posted a 3-0 victory over host IUP in a PSAC West match Tuesday at Memorial Field House.

The Vulcans are 32-1 overall and 10-0 in the PSAC West while the Crimson Hawks dropped to 13-18 and 0-9 in the division.

Alyssa Prince and Tessa Siewert both had seven kills for IUP, one more than Maddie Schulte. Prince also had four aces and four digs. Racquel Cabrera and Danielle Ostendorf both had five kills and two blocks.

Emily McCombie contributed 28 assists and five digs and Emily Pany led IUP with eight digs.

The Crimson Hawks head to West Virginia this weekend for matches versus Glenville State on Friday and Davis & Elkins on Saturday.
