Jessica Bodkin led IUP past Slippery Rock 3-0 Saturday in its final home game of the season. Bodkin had 13 kills, 12 digs and fours blocks as the Crimson Hawks advanced to 17-14 overall and 9-8 in the PSAC, while the Rock fell to 7-22 on the season and 3-13 in the conference.

In the first set Slippery Rock went on a four point run to pull within one of IUP but Morgan Cerveny capped off the set with a kill to take a 25-23 decision. In the second set IUP took a 25-21 win with a Laura McFadden kill assisted by Chelsey Kreinbrook. IUP closed out the third set with back-to-back kills by Danielle Ostendorf to take a 25-19 victory.

Alyssa Price recorded 11 digs, 12 kills and a .200 hitting percentage, while Emily Pany had 18 digs for the Crimson Hawks.

Cerveny posted three blocks, while Kreinbrook had 38 assists and McFadden had 12 digs for IUP.

The Crimson Hawks will be back in action Tuesday with a matchup against division leader California at 7:00 p.m. Earlier this season the Vulcans dropped IUP 3-0.
