A former Division I Field Hockey player at Kent State University, Goddard-Despot is a FIH Level 1 Coach who spent the past seven years as a West Vancouver Field Hockey Club & Camp Coach in Vancouver, British Columbia, while also studying Psychology at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spring 2025.
On top of coaching experience, Goddard-Despot was named to Team Canada in the Field Hockey World Cup in 2022. Many accolades come with this new Crimson Hawk coach, including Ontario University Athletics (OUA) All-Star and OUA Rookie of the Year.
In her collegiate career as a Golden Flash, the back made 19 starts in 41 appearances and recorded a career-high four assists in 2024.
