PITTSBURG, KS – IUP senior safety Terrell Holloway (Penn Hills/Penn Hills) was named to the 2013 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team, announced late on Tuesday night.

Holloway earns honorable mention honors after a season in which he finished third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 13 passes defended, including a career-high four interceptions. Playing as IUP's fifth defensive back in its 4-2-5 alignment, the fifth-year senior totaled 51 tackles, including 36 solo, and had 6.5 tackles-for-loss, a sack and a forced fumble.

He also blocked two punts on the season, with one directly leading to a safety at Seton Hill. His other came at home against Edinboro.

Holloway earned PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week on Sept. 29 after picking off three passes against rival California (PA). All three of his interceptions came in the end zone, helping the Crimson Hawks to a 20-7 home win.

He earned his first batch of postseason awards this year, including first team Don Hansen All-Super Region One, second team Daktronics All-Super Region One, and first team All-PSAC West.

He ends his career at IUP with 151 tackles, 19.5 tackles-for-loss, eight interceptions, five blocked kicks, four fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and one touchdown.
