ROAD WARS
Three of IUP's four losses this year have come on the road to Gannon, Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst. Each of those losses have been tight battles with the average deficit being just 4 points.

MR. 1000
On Wednesday, Sr. G Devante Chance (Philadelphia, Pa. /Electrical & Technology Charter) became the 29th player in program history to reach the 1000-point milestone, hitting the mark with a jumper midway thru the opening half. Needing just 4 points to get the mark, he finished with 15 and comes into the weekend in 28th place all-time with 1011 career points.

Arguably the best point guard in the Atlantic Region, Chance is currently 2nd in the PSAC and 14th in Division II with 5.9 apg this year. He's moved into 3rd place all-time in IUP history with 437 career assists and is now just 20 shy of besting Smith's (2008-12) program record of 456.

STEALING THE SHOW
Chance is also one of IUP's best defenders as he leads the team and is tied for 4th in the PSAC with 2.0 spg. He's had nine straight games with at least 1 steal, totaling 19 during that span. He has 48 so far this year, just 7 behind his career-high of 55 last season.

PSAC WEST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Those teams combined to shoot just 40.7 pct against IUP, which has also forced 62 turnovers in those games. For the year, the Crimson Hawks are 2nd in the PSAC and 5th in Division II with 60.8 ppg allowed.

SCOUTING EDINBORO
Even with three straight losses and a sub-.500 PSAC record, the Scots are still fighting for a conference playoff berth heading into the final stretch of the season. They'll rely heavily on Jr. G Henri Wade-Chatman, who leads the league with 19.4 ppg. A conference player of the year candidate, he has 11 20-point games this season, including 29 against Slippery Rock this past Saturday. A lethal shooter, he's made 42 pct of his 3-point attempts and is tied for 2nd in the PSAC with 63 bombs this year.
